    • In the left sidebar, find the Space where you want to add your documents

    • Click the "+" icon located next to the Space name

    • Select "Create a doc folder" from the dropdown menu

plus button to create a doc folder

  2. Create and organize documents

Once your folder is created, you can begin adding individual docs:

    • Open your doc folder and click the "+" icon in the top right corner of the screen

creating more documents with plus button

    • You can also create multiple doc folders within a single Space to keep your work categorized and easy to find

  3. Use AI to generate docs

You can also use the AI chat feature to build your document. Ask Dart AI to create a document for you, and it will automatically generate the content and provide a link to the new doc.

Styling and Structure

Keep your docs clean and professional by using our built-in styling tools. To access formatting options, simply highlight any text to make the toolbar appear.

From there, you can choose:

  • Use different heading levels to create clear sections and sub-sections

  • Use bold for key terms, italics for subtle emphasis or citations, and underlines

  • Use different types of lists:

    • Bulleted lists: For quick brainstorming or grouping ideas

    • Numbered lists: For step-by-step instructions or rankings

    • Checklists: For tracking to-dos, requirements, or progress directly within the doc

  • Use horizontal lines to visually separate distinct sections

  • Use blockquotes to highlight important notes or direct quotes

You can also keep your data organized using Dart’s full table support.

You can add them by choosing the Table option from the toolbar located just below the horizontal rule option, or simply ask the Dart AI chat to "Create a table for..." followed by your requirements (e.g., "Create a 6x7 table for project milestones".)
