Analyze progress and gain insights via dashboards

If you want to analyze your project and gain insights into how your team is doing, you can do so in dashboards.

Dashboards are available for workspaces on a Business or Enterprise plan. You can find your dashboards under the Intelligence section in the lefthand navigation area:

To create your first dashboard, click on the "+" icon and then give it a title (and add an icon, if you like):

A new dashboard will start empty until you begin to add charts:

Creating a chart

To make a chart, simply click on "add chart" on your new dashboard. You'll have a variety of chart types to choose from:

Choose your desired chart and let Dart populate it in your dashboard:

Once you've created a chart, you'll be able to configure the data shown by choosing the "..." icon at the top right of the chart:

Customizing your dashboard

You can add as many charts as you like to your dashboard. You can also customize titles and move around charts to organize your dashboard as you see fit.

Change chart titles

To change a title on a chart, simply click on the title itself:

Delete a chart

To delete a chart, click on the "..." icon on the top right and choose "Remove":

To change the size and dimensions of a chart, click and drag on the bottom right corner:

Organize your dashboard's appearance

To move your charts around your dashboard, click and drag from the top left corner of any chart:

Share your dashboards

After you have created a dashboard, you can choose to share the dashboard with the entire workspace, or specific team members. To share your dashboard, click on the "Share" button on the top right of your dashboard screen:

Filtering a dashboard

You can create filters for your charts for certain properties, such as dartboard, assignee, status, and more. This allows you to drill down on certain projects or specific team members to explore progress and gain insights.

Your filter options are at the top of your dashboard. Simply click on your desired properties and choose your parameters to adjust your dashboard in real-time:

One commonly used dashboard for some teams is to set up a dashboard for time tracking across tasks. See the relevant section in the time tracking article for more on how to set this up.
