AI design agent

Assign tasks to your design agent using Magic Patterns to quickly create prototypes and other designs.

Updated yesterday

One powerful use case of AI agents in Dart is creating your workspace's personal design agent. With this agent you'll be able to assign tasks that then trigger a prototype being quickly created. Some example tasks could be:

  • Design an interactive date picker

  • Design a progress bar with a draggable handle

  • Design a dropdown for choosing numbers

  • Design a sortable list

The initial setup can be completed in five minutes or less.

Implementation

First, create a Magic Patterns account, then visit Settings, scroll down, and create an API key. You will need to upgrade your account to obtain this. Let us know at [email protected] if you are interested in setting this up, as we may be able to obtain a discount code.

Then visit the Dart agents page and click Add agent -> Magic Patterns, and paste the API key into the box for it.

Once you've added those details, close the window and you should see your Magic Patterns agent ready for use.

Now, just assign tasks to your Magic Patterns agent in any dartboard that it has access to and you'll be able to return designs automatically!
